Strength Through Art is a Youth Wellness programme conducted by National Gallery Singapore. It aims to engage youth to understand their emotions and identify coping strategies through art and discussions of artwork selected at the Gallery. Research was conducted between 2021-2022 on the pilot programme to determine what impact the programme had with youth. A total of 44 students across three schools completed the programme. Findings showed that students improved in emotional regulation and coping skills, based on the domains of the Singapore Youth Resilience Scale (SYRESS).
